But we can work from anywhere now.
When our youngest graduated high school we could have stayed in our little bubble, but we decided to burst it instead. With the ability to work remotely, why not change locales as often as possible? We put the house up for sale and within a month hit the road.
The kids weren’t happy, but they’ve already moved away! Why should they get to have all the fun? From Seattle to The Keys, we’re hitting all the big cities, quirky backwaters and bizarre tourist traps we can — and we’re going to report back to you every week.
Make no mistake, this isn’t your grandad’s RV trip. We’ll hit a few state park lodges, but our sweet spot ranges somewhere between cool Air BnBs and one-of-a-kind hotels.
We have a shot at doing what so many people talk about doing but often never do — so the kids are just going to have to live vicariously through us for a change.

She’s also The Beauty. Denise is a Chicago native, a business owner and the Mama Bear in our outfit. She’s bold and is never one to pass up a good time… so selling everything and exploring the world with James was an easy, “Yes.”
She can admit when she’s wrong but she never is.

Street tacos? Also, “Yes!”
Sassy when she needs to be, but spends more money on gifts than she does on herself. That’s our Denise.
